SOUTH African journalists -- at least some of them -- can hold their heads up high and stop flagellating themselves.

In recent months, the talk in media has been of cutbacks in newsrooms around the world, closures of titles, consolidation and the loss of senior and experienced journalists.

These awards are inspired by things that are zef; ie, those things so wrong, so ugly, so mis-matched and so far out of touch that they are out of town.
Zef isn't safe; it isn't lank tit, either, and neither is it schweet, safe or kief, my broer.
